From bench to bedside and back: Munich International Autumn School for Respiratory Medicine
The Munich International Autumn School (MIAS) offers training modules in different labs and clinics in Munich for a limited number of young clinicians and scientists with an MD or PhD background. Participants will hear outstanding lectures given by speakers of the faculty as well as international experts. Call for Applications
It is our pleasure to announce the 7th Munich International Autumn School (MIAS), which will take place from November 11 to 15, 2019. For further information, please take a look at the flyer.
Please send your application until September 23. 2019, including a CV and a list of publications as well as a motivation letter (1/2 page), to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications will be reviewed by the MIAS organizing committee. Successful applicants will be notified via email approximately six weeks after the application deadline.
Costs for accommodation and meals are covered by the CPC Research School and AtemWeg - The Lung Disease Research Foundation. Travel costs must be covered by the applicants or their institutions. Fellowships for travel costs may be awarded to selected applicants.
- Experimental training modules, e.g. work with primary cells, cell culture, screening assays, flow cytometry and FACS, lung bio-engineering, 3D live cell and tissue imaging
- Clinical visits: Hospital of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Asklepios Pulmonary Hospital Munich-Gauting, CPC Outpatient Unit
- Outstanding lectures given by speakers of the faculty as well as international experts
- Networking with world-leading experts
